Established in 1982, Swiss Deli was a partnership of two enterprising Swiss travellers – a butcher and a banker, who saw an opportunity to manufacture and market a range of quality meat products inspired by traditional Swiss recipes within the city of Auckland.
The name for the products grew, touching the hearts of many New Zealanders and gaining Swiss Deli reputation for its superb quality and taste. Customers have come to include all major retail food stores, top restaurants, hotels, cafes and caterers.
Today, more than 30 years later, Swiss Deli has grown into one of the leading New Zealand manufacturers that continues to operate and proudly manufacture a wide range of the highest quality delicatessen foods for customers New Zealand wide.
With the recent acquisition by JR Wholesale Meats, the products are now available through Online Meats and at the shop at East Tamaki. We are fortunate that we have been able to retain the original Swiss Deli’s specialized staff, ensuring the quality and traditional flavour of all the products are maintained.
