Veal Bratwurst Penne Pasta
Serves 4
You will need:
- 3 Swiss Deli® Veal Bratwurst
- 150 grams penne pasta
- 1 red onion - finely chopped
- 200 grams jar basil pesto
- 1 red capsicum - chopped
- 12 medium tomatoes - coarsely chopped
- rashers Swiss Deli® Middle Bacon - fried and chopped
- Parsley or basil to garnish
Cook pasta in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
Gently heat through the Swiss Deli® Veal Bratwurst in a fry pan or place under the grill for 10 minutes, until the outside becomes golden.
In large bowl, stir together pesto, onion, capsicum, bacon, and salt and pepper. Toss with warm penne, add Swiss Deli® Veal Bratwurst and tomatoes, sprinkle with garnish. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
